I have more than 40 years experience in the field of wastewater and wastewater treatment. |
With all that knowledge and experience I want to do my best to help people to solve wastewater related problems. |

My story |
Chemical engineer |
After studying Chemical Technology, I worked in the field of wastewater and wastewater treatment. The first years as a researcher at Heineken in Zoeterwoude. |
Wastewater engineer |
Since my move to the world of the Dutch water authorities, as a waste water technologist and as team leader wastewater treatment technology, I have been actively involved in design and realisation of the new regional wastewater treatment plants in the Dutch region of West Brabant for many years. |
Interdisciplinary |
For all of these plants, working in multidisciplinary teams with consultancy agencies, research institutes, plant management and technicians, I have had a significant contribution in determining the systems selection and functionality of the installations. |
Manager |
Since the establishment of the District Water Control Board, "Waterschap Brabantse Delta", in 2004 in the position of manager Consultancy and Support. |
In this role, I managed a team of professionals in the fields of purification technology, process automation, asset management and energy management. |
As department manager I was also a member of the management team of the "sector Zuiveringsbeheer" (MT Wastewater treatment) |
Lecturer |
Already from the start of "Wateropleidingen" (institute for water management education) I am active as a lecturer in the field of wastewater treatment. |
I enjoy passing on my knowledge and experience to students of District Water Contol boards, companies and municipalities. |
